My home is in default and close to forclosure since I am unable to work at this time due to reasons below......

I am 72+ years old and have been active in the professional music industry for over 40 years. Most of that time I spent working in live concert productions with a job title of Keyboard Engineer/Technician and Audio Engineer specializing in Electronic Music Synthesizers, Organs and Pianos, computers and recording software. There is much more than I can describe here. I have worked for YES, Emerson, Lake and Palmer, (ELP), The Rolling Stones, Fleetwood Mac, No Doubt, (Gwen Stefani) Herbie Hancock, Rod Stewart, Diana Ross, Peter Gabriel and many, many others.

I have in the past, had a reasonably lucrative off-tour, sideline electronics repair business, which I am trying to revive. However, due to the physical requirements of the industry (loading and unloading of equipment and building stage setups) I have developed several collapsing lumbar discs which have necessitated numerous surgeries to relieve the chronic sciatic nerve damage in both my legs. Re-establishing a reliable client roster in the current environment is quite daunting……

As of March 2020, all professional live touring concert productions and recording studio endeavors came to a grinding halt because of the Covid-19 pandemic. Still, as of 2024, the industry has not restarted anywhere close to the levels prior to the outbreak of Covid-19.

Unfortunately, in October 2022, I became a victim myself of the Covid-19 pandemic. One of the results of the infection is that I have developed mild scarring in my left lung (congestion), causing difficulty breathing. I suffer from long-haul Covid, along with other complications. I not only have a congestive lung problem, but also an atrial fibrulation heart condition, which requires that I carry portable supplemental oxygen for the occasions that my oxygen levels drop from the after effects of the congestion which also requires blood thinning medications to control.

In February of 2023, I went in for a “routine” medical procedure (RF Ablation) to help relieve the pain from the sciatic nerve issues. A few hours after the procedure I gradually lost my ability to walk…. I became paralyzed…. it took three months to recover from the dyskinesia to a point I could functionally walk without the use of a walker device. My neurosurgeon recently had to operate on my lumbar spine to remove the Intrathecal Lumbar Pain Medication Pump which led to further incisions to drain the hyper-hidrosis (swelling due to water retention around my spinal column.) I am also in pain management with opiates and other undesirable pain medications. My long-haul Covid condition is greatly complicated as a result of neurosurgery and surgically induced spine injuries, of which I have no control.

I also have slipped into the A1c levels requiring that I take glucose control medications, as well as medications for high blood pressure, cholesterol and triglyceride control. Additionally, my prescription costs have gone up into the range of an $800 (with co-pay) per month.)

I most humbly appreciate any assistance you can give to me with my medical and financial difficulties.
