Before Jess and I ever met, we each knew we were meant to be parents. It was the ultimate goal. Neither of us wanted to sacrifice our happiness in a “so-so” relationship just to have children. So we waited for “the one”.
At the ages of 34 and 35, we finally found each other. Better late, than never!

Now we find ourselves trying to have the children we’ve always dreamed of, but with our ages, it hasn’t worked out. All the doctors say, we are healthy and able, it’s just our age.
We have made multiple attempts using IUI and one round of IVF. For anyone that knows the struggle, it is very mentally, physically, and financially draining.

We both work hard at our jobs and keep smiles on our faces but it just isn’t enough. We don’t have the funds or strength/capacity to do this ourselves anymore. I find it hard to ask for help. I’m always confident I can handle any situation. This is new for me. So... here it goes...
