Wigs for Warriors (Tammy Turner)

My Mom, Tammy Turner, was a warrior like many others.  During her journey, she lost her hair from chemotherapy treatments, more than once.  The first time we visited a wig store, the price for a nice wig, one that looks like real hair was astounding to me. Wigs range from $200-$500.  My Mom did not feel comfortable purchasing that wig considering her rising medical expenses and lack of work due to treatments.  As time passed, Mom and I talked about how nice it would be to have a fund for those who want to buy a wig.  For anyone wanting to donate to a fund on behalf of my Mom, Tammy, I have talked with a local store that will use any funds raised to help purchase wigs for those who might need financial help.
