⭐️ YEAR 11 PROM ⭐️

Hi West Exe families,

I’m part of a small group of parents helping to organise a few of the extra touches for the upcoming Year 11 Prom. The table decorations are all sorted, but we’re currently trying to raise funds for a balloon arch. We’ve had a number of quotes and have chosen a lovely local lady from Exmouth who’s charging £120. Four of us have put money in but we’re still short, so we’re reaching out to see if anyone might be able—or would like—to contribute anything towards it.

We know this message may be difficult for parents whose children aren’t attending Prom, for whatever reason, and we want to say we completely understand. The last thing we want is to cause upset—that’s truly not our intention. We’re just a small group of parents trying to make this event feel special for those attending, especially after everything the kids have missed over the past few years. They never got a proper Year 6 leavers event and have had to navigate so much due to Covid.
