Hello family and friends.
As some of you may already know. I recently got diagnosed with B- Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia while being 30 weeks pregnant with my sweet boy Angel. This new diagnosis has taken it’s own course in my life and has impacted my entire family, especially my children.
After buying some time for baby to grow a little more with medication, steroids and close monitoring by several heads of departments .. Fernando and I welcomed our baby on June 24th at only 35 weeks gestation. With the grace of God he was able to defeat all odds of staying in the NICU, and was allowed to come home with us.
Fast forward to now, I finally got the news from my Oncologist that we are going to move forward with my first in-patient chemotherapy session. Which will be July 10th. I will be hospitalized for four weeks, receiving back to back treatments. With the power of God I will go into remission and ultimately passing to the next stage/goal which is curing the Leukemia.
I humbly ask for prayers .. prayers for myself and my family in this time of trial.
I am creating this fundraiser to keep my little family and myself on our feet. Funds come to an end quickly. My husband Fernando is the only provider and unfortunately as we all know bills never stop and new things always pop up especially now with two small kids. Anything will help us out, anything.
We sincerely give every donator a big thank you in advance for hearing us out and having compassion in my story. We greatly appreciate your generosity.
With lots of love, Wendy.
Update : 11/21/2022
I have entered into remission. With the grave of God everything is going well. I will be receiving chemotherapy as an out patient to enter into a “deep remission”. Followed by radiation to kill my immune system and bone marrow. After that is done I will be reviving a bone marrow transplant. Which requires a one month hospital stay. We’re closer to the finish line!
