Donazione protetta
Receiving a diagnosis of cancer can be at most, devastating for anyone. Receiving that diagnosis at 44 years of age is tragic. Our beloved son, Jeremy Leasure has received such a diagnosis.
In January of this year, Jeremy was hospitalized for a MRSA infection in his knee that spread to his bloodstream. After discharge, and arriving home with a port to deliver antibiotics into his system, his much-attuned visiting nurse was not happy with his progress. She notified his doctor and back to the hospital he went. After many more scans and blood work, he was diagnosed with small cell carcinoma, a very aggressive cancer type. He quickly received radiation and several weeks of chemotherapy and this month, after a second bout with a MRSA infection, he is currently at a standstill with his chemo until the infection is clear.
Since Jeremy’s diagnosis, he has not been able to work and is currently on Long-Term Disability and paying the monthly high cost of COBRA Insurance. His wife, Carrie has been laid off since the emergence of Covid19. Jeremy has always been a hard worker and good provider to his family. He has kept up a strong spirit and positive attitude in order to fight this enemy of his body, God’s temple.
Many people have already donated towards this effort to help care for Jeremy. We greatly appreciate his Employer Sentric Corp. of Southpointe, who supported Jeremy and his family until his LTD became effective. We would also like to thank the members Cecil CMA Church, who have shown this family the love of Jesus in more ways than one.
Needless to say, Jeremy and his family remain in great need financially and asking friends and family to help is very difficult for us. We know that in these hard times that you all may not be able to help financially but we covet your prayers for his healing most of all.
