Purpose:
To enhance St. Joseph, Missouri's hiking/biking trail that expands across the city, along the beautiful parkway system, by placing a drinking fountain at the corner of NorthEast Parkway and Ashland Avenue.
The fountain will honor the memory of John Cathcart who passed away in 2017. John was an avid runner and used the parkway system to hone his running skills over many years while he was growing up in St. Joseph. He had a deep love for long distance running, and for the people of his hometown.
