Welcome to our story...My name is Alexis and I am fundraising on behalf of my older sister Naomi Lebron who is currently battling Stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer at 42 years old. Naomi is a warrior momma with two beautiful daughters ages 7 months and 4 years old.

We found out about Naomi's diagnosis on October 5th, 2022 while she was 5 months pregnant with her now 7 month-old daughter after she had countless visits to doctors, specialists and the ER under the guise that she was experiencing severe gastro-intestinal illness. At the time doctors diagnosed her with a small cyst on the top of her pancreas and told her to follow up after she gave birth.

Knowing things weren't feeling right, Naomi listened to her body and pursued answers while pregnant only to receive the news that it was pancreatic cancer. Never in a million years did we think she would be facing the battle she is today. BUT she is a warrior and has been relentless in her treatment-- including having had her first chemotherapy infusion while 7 months pregnant, following up with her team of doctors and doing her best to continue to take care of her beautiful family.

After being denied her compensation from long-term disability from the insurance company due to them deeming her diagnosis as a "preexisting condition" (the initial cyst diagnosis on her pancreas), and being unable to work full time due to her treatment schedule and diagnosis, we find ourselves reaching out to our community of people to help her in our time of need.

Naomi has medical expenses, costs relative to housing and two daughters who require resources that are difficult to finance given the circumstances.

WE BELIEVE AND HAVE FAITH that Naomi will continue to make progress in her treatment and be part of the group of survivors from this disease. She is literally the strongest person I know, and I'm not just saying that because she is my sister, but because I have seen firsthand--how fearlessly she has stepped into this with her faith in God and the support of her family, loved ones and medical team.

We ask our community to contribute what they can, whether it is a financial donation or sharing this to your network of people via social media, in order to garner support to help Naomi in her time of need. All money raised will go towards Naomi's costs of living, including supporting her two daughters and her medical expenses. Any money remaining will be saved to be used for any future expenses should Naomi need them.
