Walk 62 Miles for American Cancer Society

I'm walking 62 miles to help the American Cancer Society fight for a world without cancer. My brother, Josh, was diagnosed with leukemia in June 2016. He went through several rounds of chemotherapy. It was determined that his best chance of staying cancer free would be a bone marrow transplant. His donor was a perfect match and on October 26th, 2016, he completed his transplant. A few weeks later, he developed a cough, which was concerning. In February 2017, he was declared cancer free. We were elated and ready to get him healthy and living our life again. In April 2017, the doctors decided to do a lung biopsy to try and determine why he was coughing so much. He never left the hospital after the procedure. It was a roller coaster for the next 3 months not knowing what was happening or if he would be ok. After a long, hard fight, Josh went to heaven on July 27th, 2017. A piece of me left that day. I miss him every single day. So this July, I’m walking to honor his life and so hopefully no one else has to go through this.
Please consider making a donation because every little bit helps. Thank you for your support!
