"I sang our first dance song, Joe grabbed my hand tightly and I held him as he took his last breath.... Rip my sweet love...— with Joe Krahe."
Brittany Krahe, May 30, 2015, 4:20PM
One journey ended yesterday, and another begins for Brittany with Joe watching from heaven. Joe was diagnosed in September 2012, at 35 years young, with a glioblastoma brain tumor and courageously fought an incurable disease to live each day to the fullest with his friends and family. He was a fighter until the very last moment and passed away peacefully hand in hand with Brittany.
Cancer is evil, leaves scars, and we appreciate your generosity to the Krahe family as they grapple with the pain, and move on to brighter days ahead with the love of "cancer-free"Joe looking down and cheering us on with that great big smile. Even in death, Joe wins, he is free.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial contribution to help with the financial responsibiles left from a battle with brain cancer.
