Mi nombre es Madelein Mendoza, a mis 15 años de edad ingresé a la Escuela Agrícola Panamericana Zamorano y actualmente curso el tercer año de la carrera Agroindustria Alimentaria. Nací en Güinope, El Paraíso, Honduras, donde mi familia, con tanto esfuerzo ha logrado, junto a la ayuda parcial que me otorga Zamorano y los préstamos que ha solicitado mi madre, mantener las cuotas de la universidad.
Quien sostiene mi hogar es mi madre, que es maestra de educación primaria, y quien a causa de la pandemia no ha logrado recaudar lo requerido para cubrir los costos de este año. Adicional a esto, y por los bajos ingresos de mi mamá, no se le ha permitido solicitar más préstamos ni optar a una hipoteca por nuestra casa.
La Escuela extendió el plazo de pago por varias semanas para todos los estudiantes. La fecha que tenemos ahora para pagar la matrícula adeudada es el 15 de junio de 2020. Yo deseo seguir con mis sueños de aportar a mi comunidad y país. Zamorano me ha dado otras grandes oportunidades como gozar de una beca parcial; ahora abogo por la ayuda de ustedes para cumplir con mi cuota y alcanzar este sueño.
Con mucho empeño he logrado mantenerme como alumna de Excelencia Académica, me he destacado como tutora de Ciencia de Alimentos, Tecnología de Alimentos, Cálculo Diferencial, Producción Animal, entre otras materias; fui orientadora de los alumnos de nuevo ingreso 2020. También he sido miembro de los equipos de Fútbol Femenino y participado en danza. Me he esforzado por mantener mi compromiso para conmigo misma y destacarme como persona y profesional.
Estoy a punto de alcanzar este logro, que está tan en riesgo de cumplirse. De la manera más sincera solicito de su ayuda y así poder cumplir mi sueño y el de mi madre, de ser egresada de la Escuela Agrícola Panamericana.

My name is Madelein Mendoza, when I was 15 years old I entered the Zamorano Pan-American Agricultural School and I am currently in my third year of the Food Agro-industry career. I was born in Güinope, El Paraíso, Honduras, where my family, with so much effort, has managed, along with the partial help that Zamorano gives me and the loans that my mother has requested, to maintain the university fees.
The one who supports my home is my mother, who is a primary school teacher, and who, due to the pandemic, has not been able to raise the funds required to cover this year's costs. In addition to this, and due to my mother's low income, she has not been allowed to apply for more loans or qualify for a mortgage on our house.
The School extended the payment term by several weeks for all students. The date we now have to pay the tuition due is June 15, 2020. I want to continue with my dreams of contributing to my community and country. Zamorano has given me other great opportunities like enjoying a partial scholarship; Now I plead for your help to meet my quota and achieve this dream.
With a lot of effort I have managed to stay as a student of Academic Excellence, I have stood out as a tutor in Food Science, Food Technology, Differential Calculus, Animal Production, among other subjects; I was a counselor for the new students 2020. I have also been a member of the Women's Soccer teams and participated in dance. I have strived to maintain my commitment to myself and stand out as a person and a professional.
I am about to achieve this achievement, which is so at risk of being accomplished. In the most sincere way I request your help and thus be able to fulfill my dream and that of my mother, to be a graduate of the Pan American Agricultural School.
