TEAM BANG BANG KICKBOXING CAMEROON
My name is Francois Ambang. I am the owner of Bang Bang Kickboxing in Mechanicsville, VA, a business I started in July, 2014. I am a former professional kickboxer originally from Cameroon, Central Africa, obtaining my American Citizenship in 2013. I fought for many years with several elite Kickboxing organization’s including, Glory Kickboxing, Bellator, and FFC, to name a few, reaching a rank as high as #8. It was a long journey to success and I am grateful for the support of so many, and strive to pay it forward.
Many years ago, I had a dream, a goal, of being a champion… a world champion. Unfortunately, with that dream I had no financial means to support the journey or my family. It all could have ended there. Due to the unexpected generosity of a handful of people, and a large donation from one man who saw my potential, I was able to join and travel with the Cameroonian Team and that’s when my career took off. While a championship was not in my destiny, I have shifted to build new champions.
Over the past few years during my visit’s home to Cameroon I found there were so many like me, possessing amazing talent, technique, ability and drive, but no guidance, and extremely limited financial situations. About a year ago I decided to take action, and formed Team Bang Bang Kickboxing Cameroon to support those fighters with a desire to train and move to the next level. The financial sacrifice and support have been well worth it, as the team has grown from 2 or 3 committed individuals to 12, and still growing.
That said, I NEED YOUR HELP. The team needs quite a bit more financial support, for equipment, training, lodging and travel, in order to move forward.
