Vicente Zuniga Castillo was born Feb. 20, 1971
However, the day of one's birth is not what is important.
Proverbs 7:1 says: " A good name is better than good oil and the day of death is better than the day of birth."
Simply put, when we are born we have no reputation, but as time progresses and we become who we are,  we are loved for being that person and what good we have accomplished. Our name or who we are is remembered by our loved ones as well as Jehovah God who made us.
Just 45 short years later almost to the day, on
Feb. 24, 2016 at 7:15 pm Vicente's spirit or spark of life went back to the one who gave it. (Ps 146:4) He had battled numerous health conditions from the loss his toes, to the loss of a brilliant mind and work he loved due to numerous strokes. Eventually his last stroke took his freedom and paralyzed half his body resulting in  his needing 24 hour around the clock care.
In his illness Vicente humbled himself and realized what was important. He became thankful and more thoughtful of those around him. He fought ever so hard to fix mistakes and past wrongs, an admirable course for anyone seeking forgivness and repentance. He found both and much, much more. (Read Isaiah 1:18)
"The wages sin pays is death."(Romans 6:23) Vicente's debt is paid in full. Now he sleeps, ( Ecc. 9:5,6) waiting for the free gift of everlasting life. This is victory because he did not give up.
Who we are:
We are Krissy, Macy and Ian
("My Favorite Humans"- Vicente)
Vince was loved very much by his family. His son Ian and daughter Macy will grow up with out a father. His wife Krissy is left  widowed way too young.
We have have started this page to ask for help. As is the way of sickness, it stole more than just Vince, it stole from his "favorites" emotionally and financially.  Emotionally, the loss can only be recouped by means of what is found in the bible at Acts 24:15 and Dan12:2. Vicente loved these verses they are his hope and the conviction of his heart.
Financially is a different story. We can help this family pay for Vicente's funeral expenses as well as cover the loss of income his family has suffered. He had no insurance.
Isaiah 1:17 Says" Learn to do Good, seek Justice. Correct the oppressor, Defend the rights of the fatherless child and plead the cause of the widow."
Your donation will help calm  some very troubled hearts.
