My name is carl tatem, I am a veteran 20 years in the US Army. I have dialysis three times a week due to agent orange. I recently injured my foot during a visit to the va hosipital I went in for back pain, but upon discharge the staff did not lock the bed. At this time I attempted to stand and the bed moved and my foot broke which has left me bed bound. The window for having part b insurance has closed enrollment is only from January to march which would have provided transportation. Family and i have exhausted our funds paying for transportation the private services has been a huge expense $400 to get there and $400 to get back three time a week. All my injuries are service connected and I am looking to get a transit gurney van so my wife and son can help me get to dialysis to stay in this fight.
