Valerie Rabb
She stood outside the main entrance every
morning to greet students as they entered from the buses. "Good morning students.", "Hello
Amir!", "How are you Tamara?", "Glad to see you
Brandon!" and "Hurry before the late bell rings, today is going to be a great day." These among
many, are only a small sample of the positivity
and words of encouragement that Valerie or Val (as we called her) would deliver as students and staff entered the building each morning.
Valerie’s desire was to make sure that every
student succeeded. No matter the obstacle,
challenge, or trouble a student was facing , Val
was always there to support. She worked
tirelessly. Val was always one of the first staff
members to enter the building in the morning
and the last staff member to leave in the
evening. Whatever was asked of her, not only did she get it done, but she got it done exceptionally each and every time.
Moreover, her dream was to make sure every
student lived up to their full potential. She
encouraged students continuously and
challenged them every day. Though she is no
longer with us and will greatly be missed, we
would like to keep her dream and spirit alive by making sure ever student succeeds no matter the obstacle.
The goal of this Go Fund Me is to award three deserving seniors for the 20-21SY who have
overcame adversity and have exhibited the grit
and passion to continue their education by
enrolling in a college or trade school. Award
recipients will be presented with the scholarship at the annual Middletown High School Senior
Award Night.
Please help us keep what was dear to her heart
alive.
