Help Father's Journey to Health and Stability

Donazione protetta
Update - he is home with a long way to recovery , my mother has stopped working to care for him as he cannot be left alone until further noticed . He is doing physical, OT and speech therapy. Due to so many surgeries it has caused nerve damage that prevents him from doing his daily things . Any donations will help with bills , medical equipment needs , hygiene and meals .
I am reaching out to ask for help as it has been a long journey, what we thought would be a 1 week hospital stay has been an almost 2 month hospital stay . My father had a brain tumor removal through the nose, also known as endoscopic endonasal surgery on April 9th 2025 , discharged 3 days later .
April 16th he was not feeling well at home and was rushed to Grady hospital. He was having a leak from his surgery , a csf leak . He had to have an emergency endoscopic endonasal surgery to patch where the leak was coming and transferred to ICU for observation. While his stay at the ICU throughout the month he continued to have the leaks which caused lots of air pockets in the brain and infection in the csf fluid (meningitis) . He was then placed a shunt to drain excess csf fluid and relieve pressure from brain that eventually got infected (fungus) and still continued to have a csf leak and was then placed a lumbar . 5 endoscopic endonasal surgeries later we finally had to do a more invasive surgery , a craniotomy. We thought this is the last of it we are sure there will be no more csf leaks no more bacteria entering into the brain but again a leak and even more air in brain.
He had to go back into surgery one last time ENT and NUERO went in at the same time and patched up again . Today makes 2 weeks since his last surgery and are relieved to know that there is no leak but is currently having vessel spasms in brain , speech difficulties , confusion & changes in mental status and is currently still on antibiotics for infection .
He is to start inpatient physical therapy , OT & speech next week for 2 weeks .
We are devastated that he had to go through so much and he has a long journey ahead of him with the help of his family . We are here to ask for prayers and for any donations as they will help the family focus on getting him back to his regular life once he is released from hospital , it will not be easy but definitely possible .
He was the primary provider at home and will not be back at work until further noticed . Any help is very appreciated as it will help pay his bills , medical bills/equipment etc ..
