Hope for Colton
Donation protected
Our son, Colton Edward, was born November 23,2022 via emergency C section complicated by a uterine rupture and placental abruption. His primary diagnosis is severe HIE, hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy. From this injury he has been diagnosed with cerebral palsy, global delay, CVI, seizure disorder, g tube dependency, hypertonia, hypotonia, reflux, dysphasia.
Our highest priority is keeping our faith that he will recover and live a happy, healthy life at home with us and his sisters. We have to take it day by day and try to stay patient for our strong little boy. He requires 24/7 care and precautions, frequent physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy. Feedings are done by a g/tube and he is now on bipap at night, oxygen as needed and frequent suctioning.
Because I had to resign from my job at the hospital to care for Colton full time, bills are tight. I’ve been working a few jobs to maintain our income and Chris works outside the home. I haven’t been able to maintain a steady wage with being in the hospital so frequently and tending to Colton
We need help with bills and childcare costs. We are definitely not ones who like to ask for help, but we need help. Please keep Colton in your prayers, as this little boy just can’t catch a break.
Mommy and Daddy love you so much Colton. we will never give up on you. Thank you for your donation. Our family will never be able to thank you enough. Please follow Colton’s story on caring bridges.
