I need help. My cat Coconut is in need of a hernia repair and I don't have the funds for a surgery like that. Last night (1/27/26), I had to rush her to the emergency vet due to her suddenly developing a hernia after trying to throw up. I don't know what happened, because moments before she was rubbing up against me and racing me upstairs to get her dinner. It all happened so suddenly but I don't know what I would do without her in my life.

The emergency vet estimated the surgery to cost between 7k to 8k, and I can only cover ~2k. I feel so awkward asking for help, but I need help.
