Urgent Support Needed for Roof and Kitchen Rebuild

I find myself desperate. I have never asked for help before, well here goes... I have had a tarp on my roof for 2 months now, along with my kitchen being torn apart.

My roof started leaking during the hurricane that came through late last year. I notified my insurance company; they inspected and said nothing was wrong with the roof. It leaked about a month later, I notified insurance, they did nothing. On December 10th, the bottom dropped out. I woke with standing water in my kitchen and water pouring in my ceiling and around electricals. I called insurance again, panicked. They sent out a restoration company, Southeast Restoration. He tarped my roof and started this nightmare. Within a few days, I had up to 7 machines drying out my kitchen. A few more days, everything in my kitchen was packed up by strangers, and my kitchen demolished, even my kitchen sink was taken from me. I was assured by this company that I would not receive a bill, and I would get a brand-new kitchen, a brand-new roof, and State Farm would pay for everything. Well, that was untrue. 2 months later, my roof is still tarped, my kitchen still destroyed. The restoration company halted when they heard that my insurance was denying the claim. Since then, my insurance has covered about a quarter of the damages for the kitchen demo. I am working through that part of it. The thing is that my kitchen cannot be put back together until my roof is repaired, which did get denied by my insurance. Come to find out, the restoration company did more damage to my roof with the 40 nails holding the tarp down, pulling them up and nailing them 3 times for the company to look at my roof (200 square feet).

All of this is so new to me. I don't have the financials to hire an attorney, which I think I have been done very wrong. I just want my home put back together.

And so that leaves me here asking for help. My roof will cost at least $4000. I found a neighbor that is doing it for a good price and will be honest with me.
