Here’s Khalil’s story in his own words:

“I am Khalil and my story is big. I need you to listen to me because I need you, people, to help me with it. I am the head of a family. I had a house and a source of livelihood, but they were destroyed due to the occupation. But now I am homeless and without a source of livelihood. We live in a tent after we were displaced more than once.

But the biggest problem is with my young children who cannot stand the cold in the winter, which causes them to suffer from many diseases that lead to their death. I do not have a source of livelihood to be able to buy them diapers that cost $100 and milk for them that costs $120 and expensive treatments for them.

This is my brother Mohammed, he suffered from severe infections due to the lack of cleanliness due to the scarcity of detergents for children and my inability to provide him with clean diapers, which caused severe infections and he needs to travel abroad to receive health care. He needs 10 thousand dollars for treatment abroad because the situation is difficult in Gaza. Help Mohammed.
