Hi, my name is Gabby, and I’m raising funds on behalf of my mom during an incredibly difficult and sudden crisis.

On Christmas Day, my mom lost her husband, and my younger brother lost the only father he has ever known, in a tragic and unexpected accident. They were married in August of 1994 and shared nearly 30 years together. In the days immediately following his death, my mom has been left without access to basic financial resources. The only account she can currently access contains only a few cents.

It is now January 1st, and rent, utilities, food, and other essential living expenses are due. My mom was financially dependent during the marriage and now she and my brother are facing immediate homelessness while still in shock and grief from losing her husband just days ago.

The funds raised will go directly toward urgent needs such as rent, utilities, groceries, transportation, and basic necessities while my mom works with an attorney to navigate probate and protect her rights as a surviving spouse.

This fundraiser is about helping my mom and younger brother stay housed, fed, and safe during the most vulnerable moment of their lives, just days after a devastating loss. Any support, whether through a donation or simply sharing this page, truly means more than we can express.
