Urgent Aid for a Son's Health and Stability
Doação protegida
Never in a million years would I have thought life would come to this, but desperate times call for desperate measures. Life has been lif’ing, as I know it has for many of you as well. I have fell on hard times, tried every resource offered to/for adults and have been unsuccessful. And yes, I've tried there, there, and there, as well. I know, I usually don’t share. I keep everything to myself, but here goes…..my son has been battling some health issues, Extreme high blood pressure, which caused him to have a stroke, earlier this year. This had him hospitalized for two months (one month being sedated to avoid further damage), diabetes (needs a pancreas transplant), kidney disease (needs a kidney transplant) currently on dialysis, recently came to the top of the transplant list, but was too sick to be approved for the transplant surgery, so we have to start that process over again. My son has worked since he was 16. A young entrepreneur at a very young age. Never sat still. He was always looking to begin his next endeavor and his health has recently declined and caused everything to come to a halt.
Financially, life has become impossible to manage between BGE, medical equipment, medical services, appointment after appointment, medications no longer covered or barely covered by insurance, cellphone bills, transportation, groceries, and just household necessities. The healthcare and insurance industries are working against him at this point. Maxing out credit cards and over drafting accounts, robbing Peter to pay Paul, I’m overwhelmed and drowning. I've missed alot of time from work and rent is past due and we’ve received an eviction notice, with my son’s current health and limited mobility, homelessness can’t be an option right now.
Thank you in advance.
