Dreamflight 2022

Do you want to join me in making a difference? Firstly thank you very much for visiting my page! I'm raising money for Dreamflight 2022 and every donation is so appreciated.

After being cancelled twice and a very tricky two years for everybody, Dreamflight Orlando is finally going ahead for 2022 and I am so honoured and excited that I have been chosen to go along this year.

My aim initially was to run 10KM, after doing this twice and shocking myself I have also signed up for two more challenges !! One for each year that the trip was cancelled!!

First of all I am honoured to have been selected to join the British Airways team hike up Mount Charleston extending to a massive 11,916 feet and is the highest point in Clark County. Whilst trekking through the heat of Nevada, USA

Secondly I’ve nominated myself to Tough Mudder 10KM with the North West Dreamflight team taking on challenges including of: Block Ness Monster, Arctic Enema, Mudderhorn

Electroshock Therapy and Funky Monkey

Dreamflight is a UK charity that changes young lives through taking 192 children with complex or additional needs or with a terminal illness on a trip if a lifetime to Florida without their parents or guardians on a 10 day adventure filled holiday.

Dreamflight has been described as is the perfect opportunity to make new friends and gain independence and to grow and learn from each other.

On top of the 192 very important children, a group of medical, non medical and crew and volunteers help assisting the children and ensure that they fulfil every possibility during the trip.

Dreamflight believes that fun & joy are just as important as medical research & equipment - especially for children whose illnesses & treatments have brought pain, distress & disruption to their lives it’s a welcomed and rewarding distraction.
