Jackson's Journey. The last stretch
Donation protected
Hello everyone! It's been awhile since a update. But after my Kidney transplant, life got super busy with Dr appointment for me and for Jackson. He hit is end of treatment date on 4/10/25. We are asking for a last ditch effort to raise money for the debit we have collected mainly from me being out of work near my transplant and also me having to miss a lot of work with no pay because I was out of PTO. We are asking for help to finish paying our backrent that sits at $1,408. We done all we can to stay a float and keep our heads above water. But with prices of everthing going so high. Here we are again struggling, with medical bills, like Dr visits that cost so much. Medication that also cost a arm and a leg. So if you could help us one more time as are last attempt. God bless everyone who has helped us make it this far over the years. Would not have made with out each and every one of you
Hello! We are the Lott family. We are a family of four. Jacob (Dad/36), Elizabeth (Mom/36), Jackson (son/7), and Kyler (son/1 year). We are starting this fundraiser for our son, Jackson, who was diagnosed with Stage 3 T-Cell Lymphoblastic Lymphoma in November 2022. We are trying to raise money for Jackson's cancer treatment/travel expenses/care expenses. Jackson's doctor's office is 2 hours from where we live, which is mentally and financially stressful. My family is also trying to raise funds for Jacob's medical situation. I have FSGS, (Focal Segmental glomerulosclerosis) a kidney disease and I am currently on dialysis*. With all the doctor appointments between myself and Jackson, most of my time is spent in doctor's offices and dialysis treatment centers for myself, as well as in Birmingham for Jackson's treatments. I am also on the transplant list at Vanderbilt, so if I get a transplant I will be down for a while with no income. Funds will be used for me (Jacob) and Jackson medical bills as well as for travel to the doctors, copays etc. Snice all this started we have spent so much time in the hospital we are $1000 behind on rent. My wife and I also have a 1 year old that the Lord blessed us with in October 2022. With a new baby and Jackson's need to be isolated due to the risk of illness, my wife was forced to leave her job to care for Jackson full time. I work as much as I am able to, having dialysis 3 times a week, but it's just not enough and we need some help through these difficult times. We appreciate anyone that has taken the time to read this and are grateful for any help you are able to give! Thank you for your time and God bless you.
*As of July 5th, 2024, Jacob received his kidney transplant. We will now be traveling to Vanderbilt in Nashville, TN at least once a week, sometimes more, depending on circumstance, for follow up care.
