Uplift AAPI Voices and Safety Kits Fundraiser

Our purpose at Rain Haus Group is to uplift our community through various channels and we need your support. Within the last year, Asian attacks have increased by 44% and still many crimes are underreported. Our elderly family and friends are being attacked on the streets and in their homes leaving them feeling helpless and defenseless; afraid to commute to work, shop for groceries and access basic care with peace of mind.
The reality of this resonates deeply with us as one our team members Lilan was attacked on the subway in New York City. She was hit by a blunt object and collapsed on the floor of the train. The part that hurt her the most was the deafening silence from the people around her. Thankfully her dear friend Lani was there to support and comfort her in that dark moment. The kindness of one friend truly lifted her spirits and we want to do the same by uplifting our community.
We are partnering with Philanthropy Worldwide, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, to advocate and raise funds for our AAPI community in several ways. With your generous donation, we will be able to:
• Provide support to victims of racial attacks with safety kits containing pepper spray, safety alarms, & multi-lingual instructions Sadly, pepper spray in New York is not easily accessible or readily available to be purchased
• Provide community events to uplift and foster change through impactful initiatives for our AAPI community, learn more here
• Provide free AAPI resources and self-defense demonstrations for our AAPI elderly, women, and other community members in need
