Update on Bella Bear after horrific accident

Bella was in a horrendous car accident on April 12th. She was the passenger and took the total impact of the hit. She suffered severe head trauma, multiple fractures to her C2 and base of her skull, many fractured ribs, and punctured lungs. They rushed her immediately into surgery to relieve the pressure on her brain to help save her life. She was on a ventilator for over a week and a half with no prognosis. After many procedures on her lungs, the doctors have now been successful pulling the drain from her brain and she is breathing on her own with her eyes open. Cognitively Bella has a very, very long way to go. The TBI (traumatic brain injury) for Bella is everywhere as her airbags did not deploy. The brain bleeds are in every quadrant of her head. Heather has not left the side of her daughter other than a handful of showers at home. Her home and bed have become a recliner in Bella’s ICU room. Currently Heather is not working as she is with Bella 24 hours a day. They both work for employers that do not offer benefits, and they live paycheck to paycheck. Many have asked how they can help which we always answer please keep praying. We know those prayers have helped our Bella Bear get to this point and we thank everyone so much.
