Unexpected Rent Crisis: Seeking Help

My ex/Roomate recently moved out with no prior warning, and decided to not pay her half of the rent this month, which I didn’t know would be the case until it was due. I don’t like asking for help, but I could really use it right now, as I wasn’t expecting to have to cover her half of rent last minute. 2,000 would allow me to cover rent for this month, while I work on covering next month’s rent on my own.
