Help a Ukranian Family Settle in Halifax

Hi! My name is Chris Curtis. My partner Sarah Haliburton and I are currently hosting a Ukrainian Mother and her two boys until they get settled in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia.

They arrived on April 6th after a 40-hour journey from a refugee camp in Moldova. A mother and two boys had one medium suitcase when they arrived and left everything, including their home, to escape the war in Ukraine. Her husband has stayed following the orders for all men ages 18-60 to remain in the country and defend Ukraine.

They need to replace everything, and we are starting this Go Fund Me page to help them cover the cost of purchasing furniture and getting set up in an apartment. All funds will go to buying furniture and essentials. I appreciate your consideration.
