Update on mom**

Mom has had surgery and is in recovery. We found out Alberta health SHOULD cover the cost of the hip replacement so now we’re just looking to raise funds for some unexpected expenses such as the stay in the hospital and extended stay in Mexico until she’s cleared to fly home, and anything else that may arise.

Hi, my name is Kelsey, I’m Maggie’s daughter. My mom is currently in Huatulco, Mexico. She fell today and broke her hip. I’m being told she doesn’t have travellers insurance. The doctor in Huatulco Mexico has agreed to do surgery in the next few days but we’re not sure of the cost plus the cost of the stay in the hospital. Anything you can donate would be greatly appreciated
