Lilly's Kenya Expedition 2025
Donation protected
Hi, my name's Lilly and I am fundraising for an expedition to kenya with Camps International in the summer of 2025. It is being organised by my school Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School. This expedition will include community development work, environmental projects, and wildlife conservation. It will also include learning traditional skills such as the native language and meeting the world-famous Massai tribe, as well as de-worming goats for the communities' use.
Additionally, we will be building houses, schools and toilets for the locals, preventing elephant poaching, and planting trees to restore biodiversity in Kenya.
The core objectives of this expedition are to undertake projects in order to:
•Raise the education standards of developing communities within the rural district of Kenya.
•Raise the living standards of developing communities within the rural districts of Kenya.
•Assist with the ongoing wildlife conservation programs to preserve biodiversity and protect vulnerable habitats.
Previously, with the help of students like me, Camps International has established at least 1.1 million extra trees, helped protect 100,000 hectares of wilderness and vaccinated more than 26,000 livestock to improve animal welfare.
This expedition will last a month, which is why its so expensive, however it will be alot of hard work and every day I will be assiting the kenyan citizens. Please consider donating to make a difference in so many people's daily lives.
