Last year we spent 24 hours at the Sanctuary, this year we're doing 48 hours. We were also asked if people could join us. There's not a great deal of space but one lucky (or unlucky depending on litter trays) winner can spend 12 hours with us too. Details to follow.
We spent £13,000 more than we took in last year. We don't have the finances to do that again, but we don't want to reduce the help and support we give our cats at the Sanctuary either. So we are looking at options to fundraiser and make sure we can keep helping our floofy friends.
As you know we tend to take the ones that are out on the street that desperately need our help, but they often come with issues, war wounds and needs, that are not cheap to treat. We will always do all we can for them.
Our volunteers will experience what it's like to be one of our cats at the sanctuary, but we will only be allowed out for toilet breaks. We draw the line at using litter trays
We will start the challenge at 5pm Friday and finish at 5om Sunday. We know this may sound like heaven to some of you, but with many cats come many litter trays.
If you have a pound or two to spare, please consider donating to our fundraiser. We will post lots of pics and videos during the 48 hours so that you can see we are not cheating.
Thanks for your continued support.
