Facebook’s largest SWFC fans group ‘The Wednesday Sing!’ would like to help our club with raising as much money as possible to help in our current plight.

Firstly, I would just like to say a huge THANK YOU to the administrators for being so efficient and communicative, the work they are doing is absolutely incredible. Also the fans are beginning to feel a relationship that seemed lost - coming back! Mostly through a lot of the initiatives that the admin team are providing.

We have listened to the interviews and realise that the club needs us (the fans) now more than ever to help fund the club. The Wednesday Sing! continues to grow daily and we are currently just under 31,000 members. Most of these members are very loyal to the group and have been with us for almost 13 years now.

With their help, I would like to create a TWS! Fund, an account where every member can feel like they are helping the club. If we asked members to contribute just £5 each and we got 30,000 people to chip in, that would create £150,000 alone!!! And to do this until we are bought would make things much easier for the club as well as give fans a sense of ownership and satisfaction that they are part of this great change happening at Hillsborough.
