Our little turtle, Mathilde, has been diagnosed with acute leukemia. With little information at the moment, tests are being done to gather more information about her condition. I have not only been blessed to be close friends with her parents, Cesar and Sammie, but a friend and babyistter to Turtle as well. No doubt has this little two year old made me a better person and caretaker and I honestly thank her daily for putting a smile on my face together or apart. Myself, her parents, and many others know she has so much love, adventure and spunk to add to this world and I can't imagine not doing everything to help her. Cesar and Sammie are two of the hardest working parents I know and aside from this heartbreaking matter, they also just had their second baby girl; it's unimaginable the weight they have on their shoulders. It would be so greatly appreciated to recieve any help possible so we can make sure Turlte stays strong, healthy and positive in the journey ahead.
