Help a grieving mother cover her child’s funeral costs

Our 5 year old baby girl was taken from us too soon.

On what was meant to be a normal afternoon after school pick up, our sweet girl was riding her little scooter on the footpath excited to get home, when the unimaginable happened. She was hit by a car driving out of a driveway. Paramedics attended onsite where she was rushed to hospital and fought so hard, but tragically, she didn’t make it and heaven gained an angel.

Our family is completely shattered. There are no words to describe the pain of losing such a beautiful, happy, and innocent little girl. She was cheeky and full of life, always smiling, always laughing, and brought so much light to everyone who knew her, we will never get to see her grow up and see the woman she would become.

Her mum, a single mother is absolutely heartbroken. No parent should ever have to plan their child’s funeral. She’s struggling to cope not only with the grief but also with the overwhelming costs that come with this tragedy. Between funeral expenses, time off work, she’s facing an impossible situation no one should have to face alone.

We’re setting up this GoFundMe to help take even a small bit of the weight off her shoulders. Every dollar will go toward funeral costs, bills, and giving her some space to grieve without worrying about how she’ll make ends meet.
