Hi there everyone,

My name is Nicholas Andersen, or some of you may know me as Chaotic Mist (the lovable pegasus).

The reason I made this GoFundMe is to get out of an abusive situation and to start fresh in the United States of America. I want to move away from the abuse I've been enduring from not just past relationships, but from my family as well. It started with being in a very toxic relationship with my now Ex-Girlfriend, which I suffered nearly 10-years of abusive, manipulative treatment. To get away from that, I moved back in with my parents, hoping to get some support and a way to get back on my feet away from abuse. Unfortunately, I was very wrong. Ever since I moved back into my parent's place, it's been nothing but abusive through manipulation, verbal abuse, and turning them turning a blind eye from their abusive natures. The last straw was recently when my father verbally abused me all because I said I wasn't hungry. He called me an idiot and more while my mother watched the entirety of it and said nothing. This made me feel unwelcome in a place where I should feel safe, and at that moment I knew I needed to get out of there; for my own well-being mentally and emotionally.

This is where I ask for all of you for your help. I'm not fully relying on this GoFundMe to support me moving to America, but any bit helps while I'm continuing to stock up funds with my current employment. I know 15,000 AUD (or a little over ~$10,000 USD) is a lot, but even if I don't hit that amount fully, any bit helps with my predicament. Basically, the more this GoFundMe builds to my goal, the quicker I can get out of my abusive place I called home for so long. I just want a fresh start away from the toxicity I've endured, and I have so many friends in America who care about my well-being. I want to be around people who love me for me, and I'm willing to do anything to achieve that goal.

Even if you donate a small amount, any bit helps! Every contribution is one-step closer to me leaving and going to a better place. I already have plans with a friend of mine (who I will keep anonymous) to move to the States to stay with them to get on my feet, along with having a possible job lined up once I've moved. It's just the finiancal part of it I need help with; especially since I want to move out ASAP.
