"True Blue" Mission Trip: Let's Spread Kindness and Community Together!

Imagine a world where every act of kindness ripples outward, touching lives in ways we can only dream of. This July 6th to 20th, a passionate team from Fiji is joining forces with the Alstonville and Ballina Seventh-day Adventist Churches to embark on a "True Blue" mission—and we invite you to be a part of it!

They're not just visiting Ballina and Alstonville; they're coming as the hands and hearts of Jesus, ready to serve and uplift our community in incredible ways! Evenings will be filled with a special program at the local RSL, alive with uplifting music and inspiring messages designed to help people rediscover their purpose and find a welcoming community to belong to.

Mornings will transform into vibrant Vacation Bible Schools, where children will discover joy, learning, and a deep sense of belonging. But that's not all! Throughout the week, this amazing team will extend their reach to every corner of our community:

Working alongside Five Loaves soup kitchen, they'll provide nourishing meals and a sense of dignity to the homeless and disadvantaged among us. We will give over 60 two-course meals.

Visiting local nursing homes to share songs, offer flowers, lend a listening ear, and create meaningful connections with residents who deserve to know they're loved. Reaching over 200 elderly members of our community.

Rolling up their sleeves, they expect to work in 15 homes of our community members, providing much-needed assistance with tasks that can make a real difference in their lives.

Visiting and cheering up 40 families of the community, sharing songs, inviting them to the evening programs, and building lasting relationships that will uplift and inspire.

With over 50 dedicated volunteers pouring their hearts into this mission (who will also feed and accommodate some in our facility), it's clear that this is far more than just good intentions. It's about creating tangible change, offering practical support, building bridges within the community, and providing a safe space for spiritual growth and fostering a deep sense of unity.
