Trip to Shasta

John and Gloria have been so special to many people.  They have given  much to all of us and also to our family members-that we would like to give back to them.  John has just turned 70.  John and Gloria's  home was burned to the ground in the Santa Rosa fires.   They were at Gloria's 50th high school reunion when they got the call that their house was burning, and they couldn't get back to retrieve anything!!  They are rebuilding as they are survivors. 
Many people at the recent Vista Hackers made it known they would like to make a donation for something that John and Gloria would appreciate.  Mount Shasta and Shasta Lake have always been magic to John and Gloria.  It's one of their favorite places in the world.  So it was decided to start a fund to send them to Mt. Shasta for a vacation.  We want the choice of time of the year to be left up to them.  We would like to end this campaign and reach our goal by February 14, 2018 which is their wedding anniversary.  Thank you for your help in making some joy out of a difficult situation.
