Our names are Rob Saloman and Laurel Lowry. On January 3rd, 2024 we lost our son, Nicholas Saloman (33) suddenly and tragically.

Nick had a very full life in his time with us. He traveled extensively, enjoying many wonderful adventures. He was an accomplished athlete, attacking the downhill slopes in winter and surfing the waves in summer. He was a wicked card player who you played against at your peril. He built and ran a successful business – Rosedale Construction / Ottawa Drywall Guys and often used his business to support others in need by helping them learn a skilled trade.

He had an artistic eye that always amazed us in his building visions, decorating and dress. The depths of his generosity and kindness was known to so many. Nothing made him happier than sharing good times, of which there were many, with his family and friends. Constance Bay was his special place. He put his heart and soul into his place there and loved nothing more than sharing it with his family and friends.
