I have got this amazing opportunity to Travel Abroad to Seville, Spain with TOCA( Teens of color Abroad) . I want to raise money to be able to go on this trip with TOCA and learn the language and culture in Spain please any donation will be greatly appreciated even the smallest donation can get me a step closer to my new adventure to SEVILLE, SPAIN.

Exposure to the diversity my high school constantly pushes us to find- NYC has diversity but in its own ways it can feel very limited. When you ask individuals about their passion for travel, they usually say, “New York City is great, why would I want to leave”. However, when I hear that phrase all I can process is how much the world truly has to offer. Having the chance to visit a new country but now on my own, not only will allow for my curiosity to expand but also facilitate my overall growth and individuality. Being able to break the New York City ties as well as family holds that I see as safe, will allow for a new perspective of life and overall travel. I was fortunate enough to be born into a family that travels often to different places around the world. However, I am always following their itinerary and allowing them to make the choice as to where we visit. Having a chance to shift this and now explore a new place without the security of my parents feels exciting.

To experience The Plaza de Espana for instance, that I hear is so beautiful along with the long history of Cathedrals and Art. Or even experiencing the Flamenco Dances Spain is known for. The options are endless and I am excited to have a chance at such a fulfilling experience that will only put the final stamp on my future endeavors of knowing the world from my personal lenses.
