Gender Affirming Care for our friend Judy

"Hi my name is Judy I am a 28 year old transwoman in texas and since around May 2020 my access to and ability to afford gender affirming care has drastically diminished. I currently do have some small sources of income, I am living with my brother for very cheap rent, so I am not homeless or going hungry however transition costs, even the cheap parts of it are now prohibitively expensive for me. any and all donations will be used in the following order of priority:
- First thing is resuming hormones after pausing for nearly a year. This alone has had an unbelievably negative impact on my life especially mentally. I currently cannot think straight and my range of emotions has greatly decreased. This is very hard for me as I already deal with depression and anxiety and recently I have been approaching nearly non-functional levels. Resuming hrt will allow me to feel the way I'm supposed to and allow my brain to operate the way it needs. That's why it's the first priority.
- Second on the list is laser as it is generally affordable and thankfully with my skin/hair combo laser is effective. Body/facial hair is quite honestly the worst cause of my dysphoria. If I can raise enough to meet these two needs (hrt and laser) I will be beyond happy with that.
- If there's more, then electrolysis would be the next thing. Laser is temporary hair reduction, electrolysis is permanent hair removal. This would be a life changing thing for me and my daily life but the costs are very high and i would only ever be able to do it in small amounts. Fortunately as I mentioned laser is effective and funds would be used for that first. My goal for this gofundme isn't to raise for a specific procedure or cosmetic surgery, I am really only hoping to build up a fund to cover these basic needs of hrt and laser for an indeterminate amount of time so that i can go back to a normally functioning life again."
First tier goal is $1500 -- this would help with immediate costs like doctor's visits and prescriptions
Second tier goal is $2500 -- which would help with costs of therapy and mental health services
Our full goal is $5000 -- which would help cover laser/electrolysis costs
