Tragic Bronx Fire Destroys Building

Hello Everyone, my name is Maricruz Dotel and I am one of Deserith Melo’s closest friends. We are practically family. I created this go fund me account to help out my best friend Deserith and her daughter Emma. Yesterday 1/9/22 a fire broke out on the 3rd floor of her building 333 E. 181st. My friend was stuck in her 6th floor apartment with her daughter, my daughter and my little sister. When she tried to escape the building she found herself trapped with a heavy smoke that spread throughout her entire floor and building.Her neighbors all ran into her apartment looking for shelter. Deserith not only took care of her daughter but my daughter and her neighbors too. Unfortunately due to the fire she lost everything. They have no clothes, no shoes, no money, she left everything behind.Thank you everyone!
