Tour de 4 goodness sake how am I gonna do this!

Donation protected
On 7th September, I’ll be cycling 60km (yes, sixty) at Sir Chris Hoy’s Tour de Four charity event. That’s about 59km more than I usually do. I’m not exactly built for speed—or lycra—but I’m doing this for a brilliant reason.

I'm riding for Friends of ANCHOR, a cancer support charity doing incredible work for patients and families. I know about Friends of ANCHOR because of the work they've done supporting bestie Sarah and her family as her rockstar dad, Michael, has been navigating his way through a cancer journey with patience, tenacity and humour. These are the quiet heroes making tea and giving comfort to families every day.

Every pound you donate will fuel a truly worthwhile cause (and possibly my legs on the day). So please, chuck in the cost of a coffee—or a bottle of chain oil—and help make this pain worthwhile.

Thanks so much.

More information about Friends of ANCHOR: Friends of ANCHOR works alongside the NHS, striving to give every North-east cancer and haematology patient access to the highest quality care and support, and the best possible treatment, throughout their diagnosis.
Thanks to the kindness of donors and fundraisers, the charity can provide its wellbeing services completely free of charge, within the hospital setting and at home. As well as investing in research and equipment, advancing cancer treatment and diagnosing cancer earlier.
