Tom's recovery expenses for quadruple bypass

Let's all pitch in and lend a hand to Tom and Lisa as they once again face a major medical event.

On Friday, March 29th, three days after Tom's 59th birthday, he was going about his daily routine and walking the dogs. This time however, Tom was struggling to breathe and could only make it a few steps at a time. Stopping in between steps to catch his breath. He immediately made a phone call to a nurse friend (because Lisa was at work) and explained what was happening. She urged him to go straight to the hospital, which he did. After a variety of tests and an angioplasty, it was determined that Tom needed to have a quadruple bypass, as he has significant blockage in his arteries.

His surgery is scheduled for Friday, April 5th at Regions Hospital. His recovery is expected to be long and painful. Lisa will not be able to work for 8-12 weeks while caring for Tom during his recovery. Losing her income will greatly impact their financial situation. Lisa herself is also having some health issues, and has surgery scheduled for May 7th. She was depending on Tom to care for her after her surgery. At this time, she's not sure how that's going to happen. They definitely have a full plate ahead of them.

I am asking each of you to help lessen the financial burden for Tom and Lisa, so they can concentrate on Tom's healing. Please don't doubt how much of a difference ANY amount can make.
