Tommy NEEDS a kidney Jake WANTS a phone booth...

This is for the people who have been following my latest folly to buy a vintage K6 cast iron English phone booth and convert it into a little free community library.

Many who have followed the journey through plans A,B,C,D, E and F have asked me to create a GoFund me so that they could contribute financially to the project and have a deeper sense of connection to it.

As the title of this GoFund me hopes to communicate I am fully aware of the difference between a Need and a Want. The Tommy in the title is a hypothetical example of the real needs that GoFund me does such a great job of supporting.

There are lots of people in our community who have needs and I encourage you to support them. This is a want... very different. One way or another I am going to make this project a reality. It's going to involve a 4,000 mile road trip across the country with a car hauler trailer to pick up the phone booth. The Tiny Free Library is something that I am doing for the community as a thank you for all that this community gives me and my family. I already have a wide selection fo people lined up to provide a continuing stream of books to give away through the library.
