In der Nacht auf den 5. Juli wurde der Töllerhof in Algund – ein traditionsreicher Biobauernhof im Herzen Südtirols – von einem verheerenden Brand schwer beschädigt. Zwei Wohnhäuser und zentrale Wirtschaftsgebäude brannten nieder. Zum Glück blieb die Familie unverletzt – doch der materielle und emotionale Schaden ist tiefgreifend.

Seit über 40 Jahren bewirtschaftet Josef Kröss den Töllerhof mit großer Leidenschaft und Überzeugung. Sein Hof steht für nachhaltige Landwirtschaft, biologische Vielfalt und einen respektvollen Umgang mit Natur und Mensch. Mit mehr als 17 Obstarten und über 35 verschiedenen Gemüse- und Kräutersorten ist der Töllerhof ein lebendiges Beispiel für gelebte Artenvielfalt und regionale Ernährungssicherheit.

(EN) Help Rebuild the Töllerhof After the Devastating Fire

On the night of July 5th, the Töllerhof in Algund – a traditional organic farm in the heart of South Tyrol – was severely damaged by a devastating fire. Two residential buildings and central farm structures were destroyed. Fortunately, the family remained unharmed – but the material and emotional loss is profound.

For over 40 years, Josef Kröss has managed the Töllerhof with great passion and dedication. His farm stands for sustainable agriculture, biodiversity, and a respectful relationship with nature and people. With more than 17 types of fruit and over 35 different varieties of vegetables and herbs, the Töllerhof is a vibrant example of lived biodiversity and regional food security.

(IT) Aiutateci a ricostruire il Töllerhof dopo il devastante incendio

Nella notte del 5 luglio, il Töllerhof di Lagundo – una storica azienda agricola biologica nel cuore dell’Alto Adige – è stato gravemente danneggiato da un devastante incendio. Due abitazioni e gli edifici agricoli principali sono andati distrutti. Fortunatamente la famiglia è rimasta illesa – ma i danni materiali ed emotivi sono profondi.

Da oltre 40 anni, Josef Kröss gestisce il Töllerhof con grande passione e convinzione. La sua azienda è simbolo di agricoltura sostenibile, biodiversità e rispetto per la natura e le persone. Con più di 17 varietà di frutta e oltre 35 tipi diversi di verdure ed erbe aromatiche, il Töllerhof è un esempio concreto di biodiversità vissuta e di sicurezza alimentare regionale.
