Together For The Wolans: Love, Support & Family First

Hi, my name is Lisa Schultz-Howell and I am honored to organize this fundraiser for my lifelong friend Diana, her husband Matt and their three children.

Diana and I have been friends since first grade - we grew up together through grade school, church, Sunday school, and high school where she met Matt, the love of her life. I've had the privilege of standing by their side, including on their wedding day. I've watched them build a beautiful life together, raise their children with love and create a home filled with laughter, faith and strength.

At just 55 years old, Matt is facing the heartbreaking reality of his illness. He was diagnosed December 6th with Stage 4 cancer and Neuroendocrine Tumors. His symptoms started around Thanksgiving. These tumors are aggressive and spread with rapid growth. He is beyond curing and will be entering hospice care. As he fights with everything he has, Diana and the kids are navigating this overwhelming journey, trying to hold onto every precious moment. The emotional and financial toll is immense, and they need our support more than ever.

This painful journey is one no family should have to endure alone. While Matt’s time with us is limited, our love and support for his family are not. We are looking to ease their burden as much as possible.

The funds raised will go directly toward helping the Wolan family with medical care, hospice care, household needs and the many financial challenges that come with this devastating reality. Most importantly, this support will allow them to focus on what truly matters – cherishing every moment with Matt and honoring his legacy of love.
