Hello, friends and supporters,

My name is Azhar, and I am an aspiring actor/filmmaker with a lifelong passion for storytelling. Ever since I can remember, I’ve been captivated by the power of film to move, inspire, and connect people across the world. I believe that acting and filmmaking is my true purpose in life, and I am determined to create stories that resonate deeply with audiences.

I’m taking a creative leap to make my very first short film called Jinnee (Arabic for Demon). It’s about a young Muslim girl that becomes possessed by a Jinnee and an Imaam (The equivalent of a Pastor or Rabbi in Islaam) has to save her life

To turn my dream into reality, I am embarking on a journey to produce a rip reel and a short film—essential stepping stones to showcase my vision, attract collaborators, and break into the film industry. These projects will not only bring my stories to life but also serve as a powerful tool to illuminate the human experience, foster understanding, and bring people closer together. Stories are how we make sense of the world, how we connect with one another, and how we find hope and meaning in our lives.

Through my writing, I aspire to create films that explore universal emotions and challenge us to see the world—and each other—through new perspectives.

However, filmmaking is an expensive art form, and as much as I am committed to giving this my all, I simply don’t have the resources to fund these projects on my own. Your support will help me cover the costs of:
