TJ Carson Surgery & Recovery
Donation protected
This GoFundMe is to support TJ during recovery, due to an accident. TJ will be unable to work, which means no income. On top of daily expenses and monthly bills, TJ is also unable to drive & has to pay for transportation to and from appointments. He also has two children who depend on his financial support.

On May 24th, 2024 TJ received injuries from a blast ( Professional grade fireworks mortar shell fuse malfunction) and was airlifted to the University Hospital. TJ sustained injuries to his face, left hand, left leg, and partial amputation of the right hand. TJ is on a long road to recovery and rehabilitation. We appreciate any donation to relieve his financial burden. Every bit helps and is greatly appreciate. Thank you so very much!
Upon arriving at the University Hospital, he underwent a six hour surgery, TJ’s right index finger was amputated, a significant amount of damaged tissue/muscle was removed. Eight pins were put in place to reconstruct the multiple fractures in his right (dominant) hand.
TJ sustained a 3rd degree burn on his left leg, fractured left hand ring finger tip, burns on his chest, and has multiple lacerations to the face from shrapnel. He has undergone multiple surgeries, another to remove a large patch of burnt tissue from his left leg and now has a wound vac 24/7. TJ has several surgeries in his future, such as skin grafts on the leg, right hand, and future surgeries to remove scar-tissue as it develops.
After some healing from the surgeries TJ will undergo intensive rehabilitative therapy to regain possible, partial use of his right hand and learning how to use his left hand as his dominant hand. Please consider contributing to relieve his financial burden. Every bit is greatly appreciated and helpful. Thank you!
