Hurricane Tiger Family, we are putting this fundraiser together to allow our community, family, and team to support one of our own. Recently, Tama Numera was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. This past Sunday, he was having a bad headache and body aches and ended up in the ER. After some tests were done, it was determined that he needed to get to LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City immediately. He was told today that he needs to undergo 5 rounds of chemo with the first one starting tomorrow. This will take place over the next few months.

I visited with Tama and Daralyn today, and they are both extremely positive and upbeat despite the situation. If any of you have been around Tama for more than a minute, you know that he is the life of the party and is always laughing and looking to lift others up around him. He has been a great youth football coach and a great friend to many of us in our community. He is a great husband and father and someone that is always willing to help whenever he is asked. As someone who has worked closely with him and been close with his family, they are great people to get behind.

I know that aside from monetary donations, they would appreciate all of the prayers we can offer as well. I hope anyone who sees this will share with others so we can help this family have a few less reasons to stress during this holiday season and difficult time.
