A friend of mine, have had two of their young sons
involved in a tragic accident this week resulting in 3rd
degree burns. One child's arm was burned, and the
other is covered from head to toe with 3rd° burns. They
were air lifted. Both children are in Sick kids currently for
treatment. One is awake and doing well and the other is
currently sedated with his whole body wrapped. The
family is unable to stay at Ronald McDonald's House,
and they have 6 other children at home. Between hotel
stays (they have gotten sick kids discount, but its still
going to add up fast for the cost of rooms), travel, food,
caring for all 8 children plus mom and dad, and
everything else that comes along with these tragic
events the next few months at sick kids is going to be
tough, and the family could surely use some support
from the surrounding community(ies).
Times are tough right now for everyone. If you're unable
to help financially or physically.. (meal trains ect) please
